The US-based study found that all adults aged 35 to 70 were screened. Earlier weight was not given that much importance. The condition of diabetes and prediabetes was seen in such people. An official statement from Feinberg School of Medicine said that it will play a big role in treatment.

According to Matthew O’Brien, the lead researcher of the study, obesity is generally considered to be the primary cause of diabetes. But more attention is needed. If we decide to test for diabetes based on weight, we need to take into account that some people from racial and ethnic minority groups also get diabetes at a lower weight. 6 million Asian diabetics

It has been noted in the study that there is a problem with Asian people that they have less weight. Generally, in this stage, they do not pay attention to diabetes. 6 million Asian Americans have prediabetes or uncontrolled diabetes. At the same time, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), an estimated 77 million adults in India suffer from diabetes and about 25 million are prediabetic.
